Wooden decking is an increasingly fashionable choice for providing outdoor seating areas in gardens. Due to the natural beauty of wood, they can be very beautiful areas that can be used year round by installing external heating and light. Wooden decking is usually installed in locations in front of patio or French doors where they can create a seamless transition between inside and outside spaces. Wooden decking is available in any size or shape to fit any area. Curved designs or large areas connected by pathways can produce a stunning effect.
Wooden decking is reasonably simple to install and causes minimal disruption, particularly in comparison to other possibilities like patio or paving. It can even be installed over the top of an existing patio. It is important however to be sure that your wooden decking is structurally sound and capable of taking the load of any furniture or plants that you would like to use on the decking.
There is a choice of types of wood that can be used in wooden decking. Normally decking is made of hardwood, but there are softwoods available that fulfil the durability requirements. As hardwood decking will need maintenance, which commonly involves annual cleaning and staining for weather proofing, composite woods are becoming more popular for use in wooden decking because they are stronger and require much less maintenance.

Get New Romney pros
New Romney is a village in Kent, England, on the edge of Romney Marsh, a location of flat, rich agricultural land redeemed from the sea after the harbour started to silt up. New Romney, among the initial Cinque Ports, was once a sea port, with the harbour adjacent to the church, but is now greater than a mile from the sea. A mooring ring can still be seen in front of the church. It is the head office of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway. Like numerous towns on the marsh it has an outstanding Norman church in the centre of town. This church originally stood at the harbourside, and its entries are a number of feet below ground level. The church is likewise significant for the watercraft hooks still obvious on the side wall surfaces. New Romney’s historical high street has a number of little and fascinating stores. A few organisations shut after the opening of a branch of supermarket chain Sainsbury’s, however the town keeps a lot of its personality. The former almshouses in West Street are kept in mind historic structures of Kent; they were founded in 1610 by John Southland, a vital neighborhood magnate, and also rebuilt in 1734. Adjacent to these is Plantagenet House and No 3 Old Stone Cottage, which stemmed as a solitary residence constructed c. 1300– 1350. Researchers believe it was originally the home of the Master of The Hospital of St John the Baptist, a huge secular establishment. The healthcare facility was running by c. 1260 and grew until the close of the fifteenth century.
