Langport is a town and also civil parish in Somerset, England, 5 miles (8.0 km) west of Somerton in the South Somerset district. The parish (which covers just part of the town) has a population of 1,081. Langport is contiguous with Huish Episcopi, a different parish that consists of much of the town’s borders. Langport lies on the eastern financial institution of the River Parrett, listed below the point where that river is joined by the River Yeo (Ivel).
