Although its value as an aspect of garden design is often ignored, fencing is a key part of both the appearance and functionality of your garden. Garden fencing will differ between the front and back of properties, with higher and more substantial wood fencing typically being used in the rear garden, while the front of the home typically utilises smaller sized and more attractive fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to have a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. Additionally, it is often stained to enhance its ornamental effect.
Fencing in the back garden is generally used for privacy and to preserve the boundaries of a garden, as well as to keep domestic pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Due to this, these sorts of fences are approximately 6 feet high and use wooden slats without gaps in between. Because of the additional height, these fences often have concrete footings laid in between each panel to provide strength which will help prevent the fence from blowing over or being broken in bad weather.
Garden fencing sections are generally made of wood. The posts in between the sections are manufactured from either timber, stone, or concrete. Recently, fence panels have started to be made of heavily recycled and eco friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Emsworth is a small town in Hampshire on the south coast of England, near the border of West Sussex. It lies at the north side of an arm of Chichester Harbour, a large and shallow inlet from the English Channel. Nearby to Emsworth is Thorney Island. The River Ems, which is named after the town and not, as is often assumed, the town being named after the river, flows into the Slipper millpond. The mill itself is now used as office spaces. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent resident population of around 9492 people. Emsworth expanded rapidly through the 20th century, reaching a population of about 5000 by the middle of the century after having around 2000 locals in the 19th century. The 1000th house in Emsworth was constructed in 1953. In the 1960s, substantial parts of the region were developed with a mix of bungalow and terraced housing. In 1906, development commenced on the post office, with local cricketer George Wilder laying an etched brick. The renamed Emsworth Recreation Ground dates from 1909 and is the current home of Emsworth Cricket Club, which was established in 1811 and celebrated its Bicentennial in 2011. It was marked with a Grand Match against the MCC. Cricket in Emsworth has been played at the very same ground, Cold Harbour Lawn, ever since 1761. In the 19th century, the town had as many as 30 bars and beer houses. The town has a basin for small sailboats and fishing boats, which fills at high tide and can be emptied through a sluice at low tide. For all of your home refurbishments, be sure to find dependable specialists in Emsworth to make certain of quality.
