Although its significance as an aspect of garden design is sometimes neglected, fencing is an essential part of both the appearance and useability of your garden. Garden fencing will likely differ between the front and rear of properties, with higher and more tough timber fencing usually being placed in the rear garden, while the front of the house usually employs more compact and more decorative fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. It is also often coloured to improve its ornamental effect.
Fencing in the back garden is commonly used for privacy and to protect the borders of a garden, as well as to keep domestic pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Due to this, these varieties of fences are roughly 6 feet high and use wooden slats without gaps in between. Due to the increased height, these fences generally have concrete footings laid between each section to provide stability and prevent the fence from blowing over or being destroyed in poor weather.
Garden fencing panels are generally constructed from wood. The posts in between the sections are manufactured from either wood, stone, or concrete. Recently, fence panels have started to be made from heavily recycled and sustainable composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Leatherhead is a town in Surrey, England on the right bank of the river Mole, and at the edge of the contiguous built-up area of London. The town covers a total area of around 4.84 square miles. Its regional district is Mole Valley. Records exist of the region from Anglo Saxon England. Just north-east of the midpoint of Surrey and at a junction of ancient north– south and east– west roads, features of the town have actually been a focus for transportation throughout its history. A key early spur to this was the construction of the bridge over the seasonally navigable River Mole in the early medieval period. Later the Swan Hotel offered 300 years of service to horse-drawn coaches. In the late 20th century the M25 motorway was established nearby. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 11316 people. The town has re-developed regularly through changing economic requirements and planning. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Mole Valley District Council made plans to modernise the town, with a new pedestrianised high street and a large one-way system. It has a merged theatre and cinema. Leatherhead’s many business facilities generate lunchtime demand and its restaurants and theatre reel in people from across Surrey. The undulating streetscape lends itself more to warm summer nights. The theatre (see listed here) is a movie theatre and also has art exhibits. The bypass streets to the town centre close and feature yearly in the London-Surrey cycle classic which is ranked by the world’s cycling federation. For all your home enhancements, make certain to find reputable professionals in Leatherhead to make certain of quality.
