Maintenance and upkeep is a big part of any beautiful garden. While small gardens might only need periodic maintenance, larger gardens can easily become overgrown and difficult to use and appreciate. Choosing a professional gardener to maintain your garden will ensure it looks as beautiful as possible, and might even save you money in the long term, as the price of restoring an overgrown garden can be extremely substantial, and could even involve replanting any damaged plants.
Garden maintenance jobs will obviously vary substantially depending on the size of your garden and the type of plants that are in it. Lawns will demand mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that might be growing. This will ensure your garden has a attractive green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will need planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will require trimming to ensure they do not block out too much light or become overgrown.
Expert garden maintenance companies can accomplish all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which may save you from needing to store heavy garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an environmentally friendly way. Garden maintenance companies will typically plan to execute maintenance in a regular fashion and will agree a maintenance timetable of work with you. Generally, this will involve a visit every couple of weeks, possibly increasing to every week at specific times of the year.
