Tree felling might be undertaken for various reasons. Trees that are diseased or weakened and not able to recover may need to be felled to guarantee that they do not fall independently and cause injury or destruction of property. Likewise, if trees are damaged by inclement weather or other factors and have partly fallen they will generally require felling to ensure that they do not cause any more destruction either to properties or surrounding trees. Domestic tree felling can also be carried out if a tree has grown too big or is especially near to a building and therefore likely to cause structural issues. Furthermore, trees in gardens can be felled if they are obscuring the light to a house or otherwise affecting your enjoyment of your garden. Though it can be tempting to carry out tree felling as a DIY job, it is unsafe to undertake without the correct training and planning. Professional tree felling companies can fell trees in a safe way and ensure that they do not cause any damage to property as they are felled. If the area around a tree is constrained, the tree can be felled in sections to limit the danger of it falling and causing destruction in the nearby area. Tree felling companies will also dispose of the felled tree in a eco friendly way, and could even cut up the tree into logs for use in a wood burner or stove.

Broxbourne is a commuter town in Hertfordshire in the East of England with a population of about 13,300 in the 2001 Census. The town’s sister city is the Sicilian city of Sutera. The word Broxbourne is believed to find its origins from the Old English words brocc and burna meaning Badger stream. The Manor of Broxbourne is described inside the Domesday Book, which mentions Broxbourne Mill. The area was mined for its gravel and sand in the twentieth century, that finally stopped when the mineral reserves ran out during the late 1960s leaving behind a myriad of water filled lakes. Many of the lakes became a part of the Lee Valley Regional Park. Though it has been urbanised by industrial and commercial manufacturing, the whole area still has its rural character and is preferred by individuals commuting to London. The New River which passes through the town centre, was dug out in the early 17th century. Broxbourne railway station was built in 1840. A terracotta works was opened soon after by James Pulham and Son, who specialised in producing artificial rock gardens; some of their work survives in the gardens at Sandringham House and Buckingham Palace. There are 600 organisations inside the borough, with warehousing and distribution sectors being very well represented. The employers with over 250 workers include: Fitzpatrick PLC in Hoddesdon (civil engineers); J Sainsbury, also in Hoddesdon; Marks & Spencer; Turnford Retailers and Merck Sharp & Dohme in Hoddesdon involved with pharmaceutical research. Tesco has its national headquarters at Delamere Road, Cheshunt. The Borough of Broxbourne at Park Plaza Waltham Cross is also home to the largest printing plant in the world, which produces publications for News International including The Sun, The Times and The Sun on Sunday.
