While its significance as an aspect of garden design is sometimes ignored, fencing is a key part of both the aesthetics and practicality of your garden. Garden fencing will likely differ between the front and rear of properties, with taller and more sturdy wood fencing commonly being installed in the rear garden, while the front of the house often makes use of more compact and more ornamental fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. Additionally, it is often stained to improve its ornamental effect. Fencing in the back garden is commonly used for privacy and to protect the borders of a garden, as well as to keep domestic pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. For this reason, these kinds of fences are about 6 feet high and use wooden slats with no gaps in between. Due to the additional height, these fences typically have concrete footings laid in between each section to offer strength and stopping the fence from blowing over or being damaged in bad weather. Garden fencing sections are generally made of wood. The posts in between the sections are made from either timber, stone, or concrete. Recently, fence panels have started to be manufactured from heavily recycled and environmentally friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Nethy Bridge is a little town in Strathspey in the Highland council area of Scotland. The village exists within the historical parish of Abernethy and Kincardine, and the Cairngorms National Park. Frequently passionately described just as “Nethy” the town has, considering that Victorian times been a visitor destination kept in mind for its peaceful as well as private place at the edge of the Abernethy Forest. It is in the heart of Strathspey in the Highlands of Scotland, between Aviemore as well as Grantown, and also is within the limit of the Cairngorms National Park which was established in 2003. A key market of Nethy Bridge was forestry, with at one time several sawmills in the location, but this has actually long since diminished and also now much of the income is originated from tourism. The name is stemmed from the River Nethy, a tributary of the close-by Spey, which goes through the village, and the arched bridge which was built in 1810, to a traditional Telford design, as well as is in the heart of the town. It needed to be repaired after the Moray flooding of August 1829, when part of it was gotten rid of. In overall, there are four Telford bridges in Nethy. Originally called Abernethy (Scottish Gaelic: Obar Neithich), Nethy Bridge was relabelled when the railways came this far north in the 1860s. The Great North of Scotland Railway currently had a town called Abernethy on its line further southern, so renamed this set Nethy Bridge to set apart both. The placename Abernethy is still often used around right here: Abernethy Highland Games, Abernethy Forest, Abernethy Primary School etc. In 2011 the population of Nethy Bridge was 640. Nethy Bridge was just one of the first communities in the location to establish a tourist organization site. A huge part of the site is to record all buildings with their private history, as well as numerous town “elders” have been employed to study as well as record the facts.
