Paving is a common way of designing bespoke and attractive spaces in your garden. Hard wearing and resilient, paving offers an ideal way of providing spaces for dining or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance replacement for lawn. Paving is also great for providing access to different regions of your garden, and is perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn. Garden paving is available in a variety of styles and types of stone. Whether you select marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there is bound to be a type of stone to fit your specifications. Garden paving can also be found in vitrified tile, which is a type of very robust porcelain tile suitable for outdoor use. When selecting your paving options, make sure that you speak to a variety of companies and manufacturers to make sure that you find the perfect style for your garden. Also consider utilising a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that enhances your space and draws attention to any features you want to highlight. Laying paving is a relatively easy task, but it does require a foundation to be laid that is level and able to support the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you want to have on top of the paving.

Belvedere is a town of south east London, England within the London Borough of Bexley. It is positioned south east of Thamesmead and is found around 12 miles (19 km) southeast of Charing Cross. Belvedere was in Kent, and in terms of the postal system, remains so. It was a part of the Municipal Borough of Erith before 1965 and improvement occurred prior to the Second World War, with considerable rebuilding after the Blitz. Despite this, Upper Belvedere and the Village still retains much of its Victorian and Edwardian appeal and character. Upper Belvedere is the location of a church and numerous Victorian and Edwardian brick villas. It features a plenty of conventional pubs, restaurants and retail outlets. These include The Eardley Arms on Woolwich Road, The Vic on Victoria Street, The Royal Standard in the centre of the village along with the Fox in Belvedere village. Upper Belvedere also boasts a large sized park and a library that was close to being shut down due to local government cuts. Thankfully closure threats have been averted as a result with the efforts from the local neighbourhood. A brand new ‘Splash Park’, which opened in 2005, was a welcome addition to the village, having been developed on the location of an old Victorian paddling pool. The splash park retains some of the original paddling pool structures. From 1898 to 1961, Callender’s Cable Works, at the Erith Works, was patron to Callender’s Cableworks Band, an amateur brass band made up of staff from the company. The band was a popular broadcaster on BBC Radio in the 1920s and 1930s. For all your property upgrades, make sure that you select vetted specialists in Belvedere to make sure you get the very best quality service.
