Paving is a popular way of creating bespoke and attractive spaces in your garden. Strong and durable, paving offers an ideal way of providing spaces for eating or socialising, or it can simply be used as a low maintenance alternative to lawn. Paving is also ideal for providing access to different areas of your garden, and is also perfect for use if you’ve got a gated side alley with your home, or for creating a path across your lawn. Garden paving is available in an array of styles and types of stone. Whether you choose marble, granite, limestone, slate, or sandstone, there is bound to be a type of stone to suit your needs. Garden paving can even be found in vitrified tile, which is a sort of very resilient porcelain tile suitable for outdoor use. When choosing your paving options, make sure that you speak to a variety of companies and manufacturers to ensure that you select the perfect style for your garden. Also consider utilising a differing style for detailing or edging, and choose a pattern that accentuates your space and attracts focus on any features you want to highlight. Laying paving is a relatively easy job, but it does require a base to be laid that is level and able to support the weight of the paving as well as of any furniture you want to have on top of the paving.

Hythe is a small coastal market town on the border of Romney Marsh, in the District of Shepway on the south coast of Kent in England. Hythe can be found on the northern terminus of the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway, which runs alongside the coast. Opening in 1927, the trains operate on a gauge measuring 380 millimetres and the track is almost 14 miles long. According to the 2011 Census, Hythe has a permanent resident population of around 14516. The town’s name refers to the Old English term meaning ‘Haven’ or ‘Landing Place’. Located in the town is a broad variety of medieval and Georgian era structures, not to forget the Saxon and Norman age church on the hill and a Victorian seafront boardwalk. Hythe was a settlement that was protected by two castles at one point in its history, relating to Saltwood Castle and Lympne Castle. As an essential Clinique Port, Hythe once did have a lively harbour, which has disappeared over the past 300 years due to silting. The Town Hall, in the past a Guildhall, was erected in 1794, with its fireplace being created by the Adam Brothers. Near the present Farmers’ Market that is held in the town every 2nd and fourth Saturday of the month, Hythe’s medieval market used to take place in Market Square, which is now known as Red Lion Square. There are a wide range of social and sporting activities readily available to locals in the form of gardening, horse riding, bowling, tennis, cricket, football, squash and sailing clubs. For all of your home upgrades, make certain to make use of trusted contractors in Hythe to make certain of quality.
