Maintenance and upkeep is a big element of any beautiful garden. Although small gardens may only need occasional maintenance, bigger gardens can quickly become overgrown and difficult to use and enjoy. Employing a specialist gardener to take care of your garden will make sure it looks as attractive as possible, and can even save you money in the long term, as the cost of cutting back an overgrown garden is often very high, and may even call for replanting any damaged plants.
Garden maintenance jobs will obviously differ considerably depending on the size of your garden and the kind of plants that are in it. Lawns will need mowing, strimming and edging, as well as grass feeding and weeding to kill off any weeds or moss that could be growing. This will make sure your garden features a attractive green lawn. Plants and flowerbeds will require planting and pruning, while hedges and large bushes or trees will require trimming to ensure they do not block out too much light or become overgrown.
Expert garden maintenance companies can undertake all of these jobs. They will bring all of their own tools, which could save you from needing to store bulky garden tools, as well as disposing of your garden waste in an environmentally friendly way. Garden maintenance companies will typically organise to undertake maintenance in an ongoing fashion and will agree a maintenance routine of work with you. Generally, this will include a visit every couple of weeks, potentially increasing to every week at specific times of the year.

Dalkeith is a community in Midlothian, Scotland, on the River Esk. It was provided a burgh of barony in 1401 as well as a burgh of regality in 1540. The settlement of Dalkeith grew southwestwards from its 12th-century castle (now Dalkeith Palace). Dalkeith has a population of 12,342 individuals according to the 2011 census. The town is divided right into 4 distinct locations: Dalkeith proper with its community centre and historic core, with Eskbank to its west. and Woodburn to its eastern. Eskbank is the well-heeled district of Dalkeith with lots of huge Victorian and newer homes. To the south of Eskbank is Newbattle with its abbey. Woodburn is a working class council estate. Dalkeith is the main management centre for Midlothian. It is twinned with Jarnac, France. In 2004, Midlothian Council re-paved Jarnac Court in honour of Dalkeith and Jarnac’s long standing link. There is an estate called Thornybank on the edge of Dalkeith near the industrial estate past which is the newly built Dalkeith University – housing the high schools of Dalkeith and also St David’s Roman Catholic Senior high school.
