Patios continue to be a very common method of creating practical outdoor spaces that can be used for socialising, dining, or just to enhance the attractiveness of your garden. Patios are made from block or slab paving and are available in an enormous assortment of colours, patterns and designs. Patios can be laid in either random course patterns where the pattern is varied, or in repeating patterns that have a consistent effect. Patios are incredibly durable and require minimal maintenance, only occasional cleaning to retain the natural beauty of the stone. Patios are usually installed in locations where patio or French doors can open directly out onto them as this results in a seamless transition between the inside and outside spaces.
Patios come in a wide variety of colours and types of stone. Consider including a different colour and style of stone to either inlay a stylish design or as edging to highlight the shape of your patio. It is essential to consider the use of your patio when designing it and measure accurately to be sure that any furniture fits the intended space. Specialist patio and paving companies will be able to design you a patio that perfectly fulfills your needs and creates an outdoor area that is practical as well as beautiful.

Bargoed is a town within the Rhymney Valley, one of the South Wales Valleys. It is situated along the Rhymney River within the county borough of Caerphilly, and it lies on the ancient border of Glamorgan and Monmouthshire, with Bargoed traditionally lying inside the old county of Glamorganshire whereas Aberbargoed was inside the old county of Monmouthshire. It’s unsurprising, therefore, that the English meaning of the town’s name is ‘border’. In line with the 2011 Census, the town features a permanent population of about 11900. Initially a market town, Bargoed grew into a popular town soon after the opening of a colliery in 1903. By 1921, Bargoed had a population of about 17,901; it has been steadily declining since that time, as the general demand for Welsh coal declined. The colliery, which was the subject of a painting by L. S. Lowry, shut during the 1980s, and its site has been transformed a country park. The town has lately been undergoing a major redevelopment scheme, which incorporated a bypass running through the valley with links to the town centre. The renovation of the Grade II* listed Hanbury Street Baptist chapel into a public library is amongst the most striking characteristics of the redevelopment, which consists of a council services helpdesk, a computer suite, a coffee lounge, in addition to a scaled-down chapel. The pipe organ is still located in its traditional dominant position looking over the main ground floor area, whilst the Erstwhile chapel gallery has a large collection of reference and other books. For all of your house upgrades, make sure that you employ reputable professionals in Bargoed to make sure you get the very best quality service.
