Stump grinding describes the procedure in which the stump of a tree that has been previously felled is disposed of. Generally during tree felling a couple of inches of the trunk and the root structure are kept in the earth, making the surrounding space unusable in addition to possibly enticing pests or harbouring tree diseases like honey fungus. If your back garden has stumps in the soil, removing them can clear the garden, delivering added space to broaden your lawn area or produce new areas to lay patio or decking.
Specialist stump grinding businesses can clear away stumps of any size. The process typically consists of slicing the stump as low to the ground as possible working with a chainsaw, and afterwards utilising specialist stump grinding devices to grind away the stump. Stumps are ground down to approximately 10-12 inches underneath the ground surface to allow replanting, however occasionally landscaping projects might need the stump to be removed deeper than this. The wood chipping that is made by the stump grinding could be either infilled back into the hole and used as compost in other areas of your garden, or the stump grinding company could remove it for you and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner. Also, numerous expert stump grinding companies offer specialist small equipment that can be employed if there is limited access to your garden for example, via a side passageway.

Minehead is a coastal town and civil parish in the English county of Somerset. It sits on the south shore of the Bristol Channel, about 21 miles (34 km) north-west of the county town of Taunton, 12 miles (19 kilometres) from the border with the county of Devon and in distance of the Exmoor National Park. According to the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent population of around 11981, meaning that it is the most populous town in the West Somerset local government region. There is evidence of human occupation in the region since the Bronze and Iron Ages. There was a small port at Minehead by 1380, which grew into a main trading centre throughout the medieval period. Most trade transferred to more substantial ports throughout the 20th century, however pleasure steamers did call at the port. A notable surge in building during the early years of the 20th century resulted in the large main shopping avenue and adjoining roads with Edwardian-style architecture. There are a variety of schools and religious, cultural and sporting facilities including sailing and wind surfing and golf. A popular ancient local tradition involves the Hobby Horse, which takes to the streets for 4 days on the eve of the very first of May each year, with accompanying artists and competing horses. The town is the starting point of the South West Coast Path National Trail, which is the nation’s longest long-distance countryside walking path. The Minehead Railway was opened in 1874 and closed in 1971, however it has now been reopened as the West Somerset Railway. For all your home improvements, be sure to find reputable professionals in Minehead to make certain of quality.
