Although its value as an aspect of garden design is often neglected, fencing is a key part of both the appearance and practicality of your garden. Garden fencing is likely to differ between the front and rear of properties, with higher and more solid wooden fencing usually being placed in the rear garden, while the front of the property often features smaller sized and more ornamental fencing. Fencing for the front of the home tends to feature a low height and large spaces between the wooden slats. Additionally, it is often coloured to enhance its decorative effect. Fencing in the back garden is typically used for privacy and to preserve the borders of a garden, as well as to keep household pets or other small animals or wildlife either in or out. Because of this, these varieties of fences are around 6 feet high and use wooden slats without gaps in between. Because of the extra height, these fences generally have concrete footings laid between each panel to offer strength and prevent the fence from blowing over or being ruined in high winds. Garden fencing panels are generally made of wood. The posts in between the panels are produced from either wood, stone, or concrete. More recently, fence panels have started to be made of heavily recycled and environmentally friendly composite materials such as recycled bamboo.

Belgravia is a district in West London within the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It offers incredibly pricey residential properties and is regarded as among the wealthiest districts in the world. It lies south west of Buckingham Palace. The district gets its name from one of the Duke of Westminster’s subsidiary titles, Viscount Belgrave. Belgravia’s Grosvenor Estate is still owned by a family property company, namely the Duke of Westminster’s Grosvenor Group. However, the estate has been compelled to sell a lot of its freeholds to its tenants, on account of the Leasehold Reform Act 1967. The majority of Belgravia once was owned by Richard Grosvenor, 2nd Marquess of Westminster, who developed it during the 1820s and onwards. Thomas Cubitt mostly worked on the project. You will find a lot of grand terraces at white stucco homes focused around Belgrave Square and Eaton Square. Several embassies are located in this location, especially in Belgrave Square. Pimlico Road, on the southern side of Belgravia, is well known for its antique shops and high-end furnishings showrooms. One established brand along the road is Arthur Brett. Regardless of these shops, it is a quiet district of London and neighbouring districts are significantly busier with a lot more shops, offices and hotels.
